For the past 15 years, as the CEO of Career Ladders Inc, I have realized how significant the career development and resume writing business are in fulfilling a career goal. Having served over 3,000 clients, I realized how the core skills relate to careers because I would extract core skills from each client to build their character based on core skills within the context of resumes.
Additionally, I realized how many of my clients were unhappy with their careers because they didn't know how to determine a career goal before college. After many years of experience hearing how unhappy people were because they were not in the right career. I gained an excellent understanding of core skills and how they relate to a career. This book was created to help parents understand how to prepare their kids by instilling core skills early. It will lead their kids to create a great future based on what I share with both parents and kids. It is life-changing for the future of the next generation. By preparing kids in advance for a career based on core skills, a child's dream as an astronaut, firefighter, doctor, or scientist may be realized.

The parent, teacher, or guardian during this workshop is asked to read each chapter of the kids career handbook. In chapter 2 starting early there are core skills listed will play a key role in the lives of your kids: For example:
Being able to show love and affection, 2 stress management, 3 social skills, 4 answering their questions with an honest and accurate answer, 5. healthy habits (exercise as a family), 6, a spiritual activity (expressing caring about others, respect, and kindness).
The core skills that are mentioned in my book help kids build confidence, not only in their current life but future as well.
What kids learn at an early age leads them in the direction of their passion.
This is where the parent, teacher, or guardian begin to teach and explore their potential and align their core skills with their ambitions and goals.

We review the 15 careers listed in the book and then discuss the different core skills needed to be successful in each career as well as other important information this will help kids learn and begin to plant the seed of learning about each career that may inspire them to learn more about each career or possibly a particular career of interest.
